STANFORD, Calif. - David Hsu and Anthony Tsodikov wrapped up play at the Battle in the Bay Classic over the weekend, as Stanford’s fall season got underway.
Hsu defeated San Diego’s James Ponwith 6-1, 6-1 in the round of 32 before falling to USC’s Jack Jaede 6-3, 6-4 in the round of 16.
Tsodikov took down Pacific’s Daniel Alameh 6-3, 6-2 in the round of 32 before dropping a 6-3, 6-2 decision to Alec Adamson of UC Davis 6-3, 6-2.
The Cardinal is back in action this weekend with an appearance at the Porsche Napa Valley Tennis Classic in St. Helena, California.
