STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford head coach Paul Ratcliffe has been named the 2015 NCAA Pacific Region Coach of the Year, as announced Monday by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

It is the sixth NSCAA regional coaching award of Ratcliffe’s career. He earned his sixth Pac-12 Coach of the Year honor and was named the conference’s Coach of the Century earlier this season.

Ratcliffe led the Cardinal to an undefeated Pac-12 season (10-0-1) en route to the program’s 10th conference title and guided his team to its seventh trip to the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals in the past eight years. Stanford finished the season 19-2-2, marking the seventh time in the past eight years the Cardinal registered at least 19 wins.

The Cardinal went undefeated in its final 15 matches and extended its NCAA Tournament home unbeaten streak to 29 games.
