INDIAN WELLS, Calif. - Juniors Taylor Davidson and Caroline Doyle claimed their third doubles title of the season with a decisive victory on Sunday afternoon at the NCTC Classic.
Davidson and Doyle blanked Arizona's Shayne Austin and Lauren Marker 6-0, dropping five games over their three-match tournament run.
Davidson and Doyle, who paired up for the first time back in October, have also won the USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championships and the consolation crown at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships. The duo is 12-1 on the season.
Doyle also reached the semifinals in singles.
Stanford opens its season on Friday, hosting UC Davis at 3 p.m. PT.
