Silkor Laser Medical Center

This case study captures the rich history of Silkor, a Lebanese laser medical center started by brother and sister team, Oscar and Lara Tarakjian. The case study tells the story of the founding of Silkor, and focuses on the expansion issues the company faced. One main challenge was related to growth. The founders wondered how they were going to leverage their strong brand while expanding and extending their product line. They also wondered how they would expand without diluting quality or the entrepreneurial spirit which characterized Silkor’s culture.
