Hoover Press: About the Press

ABOUT THE PRESS

One of the most visible and lasting means of disseminating the intellectual "product" of Hoover fellows is through the Institution's publishing arm: Hoover Press. At our web site, you can browse our catalog, buy books and essays, and find links to our journals.

Publications offered through Hoover Press represent the analysis and discussion of ideas encompassed by the seven institutional initiatives (see below), which augment the scholarship originating from Hoover fellows' individual research.

The seven initiatives:

  • Economic Prosperity and Fiscal Responsibility
  • American Educational Institutions and Academic Performance
  • Individual Freedom and Rule of Law
  • The Growth of Government and Accountability to Society
  • American Individualism and Societal Values
  • Diminishing Collectivism and Evolving Democratic Capitalism
  • National Priorities, International Rivalries, and Global Cooperation

More information about research at Hoover and the institutional initiatives is available at http://www.hoover.org/research/.
