Danielle Brooks

Danielle Brooks is a Senior Privacy Specialist at Stanford University. Danielle provides guidance and advice on behalf of the University Privacy Office on a variety of privacy laws, including HIPAA, the HITECH Act, and state breach notification laws. Danielle is responsible for working with the Privacy Program Managers to provide guidance and support in the development of privacy policies, performing privacy incident investigations, as well as managing and developing covered entity privacy trainings.  Prior to joining Stanford, Danielle worked in pharmaceutical compliance monitoring activities as required by federal and state regulations, including matters involving information security and privacy.

 

Danielle received her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law, and a B.A. from Syracuse University.
