Julieta is returning to Stanford to pursue her PhD in Chemical Engineering. During her masters degree in the same department, she built a personal interdisciplinary curriculum focused on medicine and human health across several departments, including a stint in the Dunn and Fuller labs building computational fluid dynamics models of microfluidic shear stresses on lymphatic cells. She is mainly interested in pharmaceutical drug development and new classes of widely applicable drugs, such as broad spectrum antivirals. Julieta looks forward to joining a network of like-minded individuals excited to explore interdisciplinary avenues to improving human health!
