Getting to graduate school is only half the battle for many grad students from first-generation and/or low-income backgrounds. Many of these students face challenges adapting to the grad school environment and feeling a sense of belonging. Join us for a panel discussion about these challenges, and hear from other students about their experiences. Speakers include: Professor Hazel Markus, Davis-Brack Professor in the Behavioral Sciences; Natassia Rodriguez, PhD Student in Sociology; and TBA. (Lunch provided!)
Free and open to the public. Just please sure to RSVP by Friday, April 17th for lunch!
