Stanford Nanofabrication Facility (SNF)

The Stanford Nanofabrication Facility (SNF) is a shared resource serving academic, industrial, and governmental researchers across the country and around the globe. 

Equipped with a broad spectrum of fabrication and process tools, SNF is designed to be a "sand-box" for nano-science and engineering researchers.

Description of Services

The Stanford Nanofabrication Facility is a 10,000 square foot, Class 100 cleanroom housing a complete suite of tools for the micro- and nano- fabrication of devices.

Although more traditionally known for its strengths in silicon device fabrication, SNF has expanded its capabilities to serve researchers in other disciplines as well, including biology, chemistry, MEMS, optics, and physics.
