Opportunity Job Fair 2016

The Opportunity Job Fair (OJF) is a reception and career fair sponsored by the Stanford School of Engineering. It is held on campus in late January each year. The fair is produced exclusively for current Stanford engineering and science students.

Program

The OJF hosts high-technology recruiting corporations and agencies from throughout the United States that employ students from engineering, science, and math disciplines. The technology student body at Stanford is invited to the Fair to meet with the attending organizations. Although all Stanford technology students are invited to the OJF, those from underrepresented groups, such as minorities and women, are especially encouraged to attend.

The OJF is comprised of two events: a reception held the day before and the actual career fair itself. The reception typically features an address by the Dean of the School of Engineering, a keynote address relevant to the engineering curriculum and engineering research poster exhibits.
