I have been watching NBC Bay Area news for well over 15 years. I am dumbfounded as to how you made the decision to not include Mendocino and Lake Counties in your updates. I lived in Napa for over 2...7 years and it will always be home. Mendocino County is now my home and with each newscast I pray you will give an update on Mendocino and Lake Counties. We have school closures here as well...the air quality is awful...so many people have lost everything. Why have you not reported on the family who have lost their son to this fire and how that family is doing?????? My blood is boiling as I am writing this. See More

I'm finally giving up on the morning show! For years my wife and I have watched Laura Garcia Cannon (and the ever-changing others) as we get ready for work. I can't do it any longer! Marcus "Mistake" ...Washington seems like a nice man, but he just can't read the news without constant stumbles and mispronunciations. Sam Brock wasn't a local either, but he blended right in with the team. Kari Hall has stepped in nicely. I don't understand the reason for the change. The bottom line? I can't stand the personalities on KTVU, but NBC has lost another viewer! See More

Offended. The one time my TV is tuned into your station and you are going after the Emergency Manager. Disgusting. We are in crisis mode, not finger pointing mode. But you would have no idea since you... typically only cover south of San Francisco. Cover the South Bay, it's what you're good at. See More

I have been a loyal bay area news follower for over 14 years and generally love your coverage. However, I am absolutely dumbfounded by your lack of coverage of the Mendocino County wildfires. You have... viewers up there who have lost everything! I am not minimizing what Sonoma and Napa County residents are going through. I am merely trying to draw attention to other counties that are equally devastated and desperately need your coverage and attention as well. See More

I think it is ridiculous that your station teases news stories and prompts viewers to go to facebook to get the news story. Is this out of laziness on your part? Because I have no intention to get m...y local news via facebook. Give me a break. See More

Laura Garcia is great! But extreme biases by people like Scott McGrew and extreme rambling from people like Larry Gerston (today in the bay 1/7/18) are a total waste of viewing time!!! How about jus...t the news??? Not peoples extreme biases and rambling opinions!!! See More

I used to enjoy the morning news. I tried to be fair and give the new guy, Marcus Washington a chance. However, he mispronounces everything! Ok, if he's new to CA/Bay Area, he may have trouble with lo...cal city and street names, but who says "El Dor-ray-do" instead of El Dorado county. Worse, he can't read the word "shingle." He called it Shing-lay Springs! This stuff happens daily! See More

I don't understand why you keep changing. I keep trying to come back but the only staple is Laura. When Christina left it all just went down hill. I keep checking back but now that Sam is gone it's ju...st not good See More

I generally like this morning show. Have watched since I became a Bay Area resident 5 years ago. But HOW ON GOD’S GREEN EARTH is Marcus Washington still on the air? It’s now a morning tradition to cou...nt how many egregious mistakes he makes. If it was his first month I would totally understand, but it’s unacceptable to have someone continually make that many mistakes, every day. See More

Does anyone at NBC perform grammar checks for its writers and articles? I don't think so. For example, from the NBC Bay Area website and reporting about the fires, NBC writes: "Roughly 2.2 million ...gallons of fire retardant has been dropped across California since the blazes ignited last weekend. Answer Hassan reports." In case it is not obvious, the word "gallons" is plural. Therefore the verb " to have" used in its past tense, should also be in its plural form, i.e. "have" not "has." A professional organization such as NBC who is in the business of writing serious news articles in the English language should never allow improper grammar to be printed on its website. Its not only a matter of quality in journalism but it is about setting a standard and the example. The fact is most Americans do not even recognize grammatical errors unless they are extreme and sadly will probably make similar mistakes due to the poor quality of NBC's grammar. NBC, please hire some qualified quality control checkers. Should someone even have to tell NBC this? See More

I don't want to give 1 star but I have to just to do a review, so anyways I came across a story by NBC that there was a person with a shotgun who shot a watermelon but they reported it as an AK-47 and... the Damage that it can do if the news is going to report something report legit stuff in real events don't report stuff and makeup stuff know your weapons if you're going to report. Stop reporting fake news in report real news like the Napa fire like you have been if y'all don't know about guns don't report on them See More

What’s this Mr Trump BS. Don’t your news readers know that the proper address is “President Trump” ? Please don’t let you bias insult me and the man who is the chief executive of the United States of America.

We are watching the Olympic Skating trials, on a delay thanks to NBC programming. We start getting obvious spoilers to results during the broadcast from the local station AND WE ARE LOCAL TO THE EVENT...! If you’re going to delay a local event, do not have story updates about it during the delayed broadcast. How did this get through to viewers?! Absolute amateur hour at your station, just awful. So how did you guys wipe out the Partrick fire in west napa/east Sonoma on your reporting map tonight? You seem to show flames on the weather map. Try to be more accurate.

Love Kari Hall. Rest of staff is good except Marcus Washington who has just to many errors in delivery (thought it was just nerves in the beginning but it just keeps happening)
