• Broke her own Stanford freshman hammer record with a throw of 190-3 at the Pan Am Junior Championships in Edmonton, placing her No. 5 all-time at Stanford.
• The throw was on her final attempt, after throwing a PB 190-1 on her fifth throw, and earned her a silver medal.
• She barely made the final after fouling on her first two throws, but stayed in the sector on her third to give her three more throws.
• First broke the freshman record in her collegiate debut, throwing 188-3 to win the Outdoor Opener in Berkeley.
• Set a personal best in the shot of 51-11 1/4 to place fourth at the Pac-12 Championships.
• The distance is No. 7 at Stanford all-time and No. 3 among freshmen.
• Finished second at the U.S. Junior Championships in the hammer, throwing 185-6.
• Advanced to the NCAA West Prelims in the shot, finishing 35th overall at 48-0 1/2.
