Biography

As a Freshman (2013):

  • Led the Cardinal with a 7-1 record
  • Finished the season 6-1 with partner Mary Ellen Luck in the No. 4 position
  • Featured in the program’s first ever win, a 4-1 defeat of Santa Clara 

As a Sophomore (2014):

  • Had a 9-8 overall record
  • Went 6-6 in dual matches, primarily featuring in the No. 4 position
  • 8-3 record with Kyle Gilbert, ending the season on a seven-game win streak which included just two lost sets
  • With Gilbert, won their preliminary match in the Stanford pairs tournament before falling in the round of 16 

As a Junior (2015):

  • Had a 9-7 overall record
  • Was 9-5 in dual matches
  • Went 2-2 with Kelsey Humphreys at the No. 4 position
  • Played primarily with Grace Kennedy, earning a 7-5 record at the No. 4 and No. 5 positions
  • With Kennedy, won four of their final five dual matches

High School:

  • A 2012 graduate of Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa, Okla.
  • Three-year letterwinner and captain of her team as a senior
  • Lettered twice in track and once in basketball
  • Team was a four-time Oklahoma state champion and the 2012 Academic state champion

  • Has an older brother, Kunle, and an older sister, Kitan, who is a middle blocker on the women's volleyball team at Long Beach State
