At the library’s 1st floor Reference Desk, and through reference@law.stanford.edu, the Reference staff work closely with patrons to answer research questions and help identify and retrieve useful legal and interdisciplinary materials.

Interlibrary Loan

Robert Crown Law Library maintains agreements with libraries around the globe to obtain books, articles, documents, and other materials not available at Stanford’s campus libraries. This service is available for Stanford Law School faculty, students and staff. If the research materials you need cannot be obtained at Stanford, fill out an Interlibrary Loan Request Form. Please consult the FAQ or contact our Interlibrary Loan Specialist with any questions you may have at smoss@stanford.edu or 650 723.1932.

Suggest A Book

If there is a title you cannot find in Searchworks (the Stanford University library catalog; see below), please also feel free to suggest that we acquire it!
