تمت المشاركة بشكل عام -More and more children were diagnosed with paralysis due to polio in the late 1980s. By the year 2000, however, Bangladesh was able to stop transmission of polio.
Unfortunately, the disease re-emerged in Bangladesh via neighboring India in early 2006. After 6 months of extensive operations, including 6 rounds of immunization days, polio was, once again, eradicated by November 2006.
