Coterm Special Registration Statuses

Coterminal students are not eligible for Permit to Attend for Services Only (PSO) or 13th Quarter. These special registration statuses are only available to undergraduates.

Coterminal students are eligible to apply for Graduation Quarter (pdf) special registration status only if they will be conferring both the undergraduate and graduate degree at the same time.

Leave of Absence (pdf) status applies to both undergraduate and graduate careers. Leaves of absence may not exceed a cumulative total of two years (eight quarters, including summer quarters). Coterminal students should be aware that the cumulative total of eight quarters includes both undergraduate and graduate programs.

Coterminal students are not eligible for Graduate Tuition Adjustments prior to conferral of the undergraduate degree.
