Your New Site

Your website combines the advantages of Drupal with a streamlined and simplified user experience provided by Stanford Web Services. We hope that your Jumpstart site will allow you to get started quickly with little to no training required.

Content Editor

WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors like the one built into your website makes it easy to update webpages without any knowledge of HTML.

Pages

The pages of your Jumpstart site are where you add the majority of your content. All pages can be renamed and new pages can be easily added.

Menus

Your menu is the primary way people will navigate your site. It includes the main menu links in the header and secondary links in the sidebar.

Blocks

Blocks are used throughout your site to highlight important and timely information, and in the footer section to add persistent information.

Users

Users can have site owner or editor accounts. There are no limits on the number of users you can have for your site.

Design

Jumpstart is built with multiple interchangable options of Stanford-branded, mobile-responsive, accessible themes.

Images and Video

Jumpstart comes with placeholder images that can easily be changed. You can also upload documents, videos, and audio recordings.

Accessibility

Tips on making your content accessible to students, faculty, staff and participants who have disabilities.
