Genetics and Cancer: What Does it Mean for Me and My Family?
Part of The Ernest Rosenbaum Cancer Survivorship Lecture Series
Many people have relatives with cancer but when should you be concerned about a genetic cancer risk? Who might benefit from genetic testing and how is this done? This lecture covers the basics of inherited cancer risk and the most common cancer syndromes, presented by Stanford Cancer Center's genetic counseling staff. You will learn about genetic tests that are currently available and what the future may hold for this rapidly evolving science.
