Chris joined the VPGE team in November of 2012. Prior to graduate school and working in VPGE, Chris spent 12 years in student affairs at Stanford’s El Centro Chicano y Latino where he served as associate director. Chris earned his PhD in education from Stanford as well as MA degrees in sociology and education. Chris' research addresses key issues related to diversity in American higher education, including the impact of racial diversity, the organization of diversity, and the social-psychological processes that affect student performance.
