#DEVELOPING- Officer-involved shooting investigation continues this morning near San Leandro’s Bayfair Mall that involved suspects in an auto burglary ring. San Leandro Police say one of the suspects lifted a handgun towards officers and that’s when officers fired shots. Two suspects are in custody, getting treatment for injuries.

San Mateo High #NationalWalkoutDay Protest NBC Bay Area
Students at San Mateo High taking part in #nationalwalkoutday. Peaceful assembly in front of school performing arts center. Strictly voluntary, but pretty big turnout. Principal expects about half of the student body to take part in it (around 800 students) NBC Bay Area
This was the message on Monday from the superintendent of Milpitas Unified School District to students planning to take part in #NationalWalkoutDay. The district is now changing its stance, specifically when it comes to a planned walkout at Milpitas High.
