Beak of the Finch Film With Quiz

Over four decades, evolutionary biologists Rosemary and Peter Grant have documented the evolution of the famous Galápagos finches by tracking changes in body traits and identifying behavioral characteristics that prevent different species from breeding with one another. This film tells the story of their pioneering studies, which have revealed clues as to how 13 distinct finch species arose from a single ancestral population. This version of the film pauses at three points where students answer questions about the film to assess their understanding of the concepts presented.
