70 Customer Service Awards
A total of $50,000 was sprung on 70 unsuspecting shelters and rescues in 42 different states through Maddie's Fund customer service awards for Petfinder.com members. 60 agencies (out of 100 contacted) provided helpful and prompt email responses or immediate (live operator) information about pet inquiries and received prizes of $500 each. 10 out of 14 provided a positive shelter experience to "secret adopters" and received $2,000 each. Best practices information gleaned from the award program will soon be posted on the Maddie's Fund website.
