The 2015 Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days event was a huge success!
Thanks to Maddie’s Fund and the awesome folks who attended, we were able to place 128 pets in new homes with their loving families.

In September 2014, the County of Santa Clara Animal Care & Control Division received $45,000 as a result of participating in Maddie's Pet Adoption Days in May/June 2014.

Our mission is to ensure and protect the health and safety of the people and animals of unincorporated
Santa Clara County.
Our shelter accepts stray dogs, cats, and livestock from the
unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County. We maintain lost and found records and actively work to reunite pet owners with their lost companions.
Surrenders
Our shelter accepts surrenders of dogs and cats from owners who reside in the unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County. We evaluate each animal and attempt to place these pets in new forever homes. Please contact us in advance if you are in need of surrendering your pet.
Our shelter offers dogs, cats, and livestock for adoption. Staff and volunteers are available to assist you in choosing a new pet for your family.
Euthanasia
Our shelter offers humane euthanasia for dogs and cats who are ill, elderly, or aggressive. Please call in advance to make sure a technician is available.
Our shelter has a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals who are at least 18 years of age.
Our shelter provides referrals for low-cost spay/neuter, vaccinations, and other services not provided by us.
The shelter is conveniently located 1.5 miles off Highway 101 in San Martin.
