Equal Employment Opportunity Data Posted Pursuant to the No FEAR Act
The Notification and Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation (No FEAR) Act increases federal agency accountability for acts of discrimination and for reprisal against employees for whistle blowing. In support of the Act, former DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff issued a memo to all DHS Employees reiterating the Department’s commitment to the No FEAR Act of 2002.
Title III of the No FEAR Act requires federal agencies to post statistical data relating to equal employment opportunity (EEO) complaints filed against them. DHS posts the required cumulative statistical data for EEO complaints for the entire Department. A link to data posted by the Department for DHS and for USCIS is provided below. This data is updated on a quarterly basis.
