Universal and Hazardous Waste

Residents are prohibited from disposing of Universal Waste and Hazardous Waste in the trash.

  • Pearce Mitchell and Peter Coutts residents may drop off latex paint, used oil, used oil filters, household batteries, and CFLs at PSSI's Office at 339 Bonair Monday through Friday, 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 4 pm. Residential identification required.
  • Pearce Mitchell and Peter Coutts residents may not place these items on or in their recycling carts.
  • We do not accept fluorescent tubes.

All other universal and hazardous waste should be taken to a Santa Clara County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: http://www.hhw.org.
