Art is My Occupation is an unprecedented interdepartmental collaborative program that empowers students to explore their personal and artistic identities, connects them to professional creatives, and provides career guidance and resources.
AiMO has grown to encompass all of the arts departments, programs and organizations on campus and has served over 800 students through its programs, events and classes. Launched in 2012 by the Institute for Diversity in the Arts, the AiMO organizing team includes the Art & Art History Department, the Music Department, the Stanford Arts Institute, the Career Development Center, Stanford Live and the Cantor Art Center.
