Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendezvous December 2015

The Stanford LASERs are part of a national program of gatherings that brings artists and scientists together for informal presentations and conversation with the audience. Each evening event, free of charge and open to the public, will present four artists, scientists, thinkers, inventors, and scholars who are working on paradigm shifts. Each evening also allows the audience to socialize and encourages people in the audience to briefly introduce their own work. Chaired by cultural historian Piero Scaruffi.
The evening of December 10th will feature presentations by:

• Danielle Siembieda-Gribben (Visual Artist and Curator) on "The Future of Eco Art/Tech"
• Sally Benson (Director of Stanford’s Global Climate Energy Project) on "Diet and Exercise: A Prescription To Cure The Planet's Climate Woes"
• Christine Metzger (California College of the Arts) on "Lights, Camera...Fiction?"
• James Doty (Founding Director, Stanford's Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education) on "Why be Nice"

Location: Stanford School of Medicine, Alway Building, Room M106. There should be ample parking in the structure on corner of Campus Drive West and Roth Way. This event is free and open to the public.
