Overview
Here are some known issues that may affect your experience.
The term Outlook refers to the Outlook desktop client while the term OWA (Outlook Web App) refers to the web version. Office 365 refers to both.

My iPhone, OS version 9.1, is sending out multiple invitations or acceptances for meetings — both future and past. | Turn off email and calendar syncing on your iPhone and then turn it back on. See Re-syncing the iPhone or iPad Calendar for instructions. |
Calendar events may appear to change ownership and may send out repeating emails to invitees. | Do not modify, create, or accept calendar events from your mobile device (whether in email or calendar). Best practice is to make any calendar changes on your desktop or webmail (or use your mobile device's browser). The mobile device's native calendar app should be used for reference only. |
The email I receive after scheduling/accepting a meeting sometimes says that the meeting is scheduled using the UTC Monrovia, Reykjavik time zone instead of PST. | This issue has been reported to Microsoft and they have acknowledged that it's a bug. It is not a high priority for them to fix, since the meetings are scheduled for the correct time and only some messages are incorrect. |
After migration, it looks like all of the calendars that were shared with me are gone. I used to see them on the left side of the screen. | Right-click Other Calendars and click Open Calendar. Search for the calendar you used to see in your calendar list by entering the calendar owner's name (or the location name, e.g., John Smith or Building X). Ensure you have a match then click Open. When you add it, the permissions come with it. |
Calendar folders - Zimbra allowed you to create calendar folders that are used only to group individual calendars under them. | In OWA the folders come over as a calendar under your main calendar. Just delete them; they have no data in them. |
webcal.stanford.edu takes you directly to email view, not calendar view. | From the Office 365 settings, under Start Page, select the app you want to see when you open Office 365. Or, pin the Calendar to navigation bar of OWA to access it in one click . |
Meeting invitations sent directly from BlueJeans do not add an appointment to your OWA calendar. This works correctly in Outlook if you have the Outlook extension for Blue Jeans installed. | Create the Blue Jeans meeting from the Outlook extension installed to your Microsoft Outlook ribbon. |
Sharing my calendar to non-Stanford affiliates is not working. | We have a ticket in with Microsoft. When it works, right-click your Calendar and select Share. Enter the fully qualified email address and click share. |

Where are my email folders after migration? | In OWA, click the "More" link to see all your email folders. Also, a triangle to the left of a folder name indicates nested folders. Click the triangle to display the lower-level folders. |
Filters - email filters do not migrate to Office 365. | Outlook rules may be exported from your old profile and imported to your new profile. OWA filters must be recreated using Rules. |
Signatures - signatures do not migrate to OWA. (Signatures previously in Outlook are migrated but need to be enabled.) | In OWA, re-create your signature by going to: Settings>Options>Signature. In Outlook, edit your signature and attach it to an email. |
Spell check - in OWA, there is no spell check. | Use the browser's spell check from the Edit menu. |
Rules - in OWA, filtering a Stanford mailing list using the list name it was received from (i.e., stanfordstaffers) does not work. | Create the rule using the mailing list's sent address (i.e., stanfordstaffers-bounces@lists.stanford.edu). |
When copying and pasting multiple addresses into the To: field, OWA does not recognize addresses if they are not in your contacts. | Separate each address with a semicolon. |

When I search for myself in Office 365, my name doesn't come up. | If your email address or SUNetID are set to "Private" in StanfordYou (stanfordyou.stanford.edu), the GAL (Global Address List) in Office 365 marks your record as private. If you change the settings in StanfordYou to "Stanford", you will be visible in Office 365. |
Group contacts do not migrate. | Recreate your contact lists and add your contacts to it. |
How do I search by category in OWA? | In the search box, enter category: <name of your category in Office 365> |
RSS feeds do not migrate. | Re-subscribe to your RSS feeds. |
For how long will Zimbra be available for viewing? | Zimbra will be available until December 31, 2015 |
"Sign out" in Office 365 doesn't fully log you out of your browser. | To log out completely, quit this browser program when you are finished and log out of Network Identity Manager or Kerberos for Macintosh. |
