Rahman began his 27-year Stanford career as a Contractor for Hoover Institution. He then transferred to Stanford University Libraries where he specialized in Microfilm and Archival Newspapers. He has really enjoyed working with the public as well as with Stanford students and professors. Rahman has contributed greatly to SUL with his years of dedicated service as well as with his friendly disposition.

While Rahman will treasure his memories of his career at Stanford, he is enthusiastic about his next stage in life. Rahman is lucky enough to be embarking on another opportunity that is a passion of his. He will serve as an interpreter for the Alameda County Superior Court where he will use his impressive language skills including French, Swahili and Italian.
