Stanford Global Studies (SGS) is now exhibiting some photographs taken by Stanford students who travel around the world. The photo exhibit is located on the 3rd floor of the East Asia Library. SGS hosts a photo contest each year. The photos currently on exhibit at EAL were chosen from the winners in previous years.

Shuangge Typewriter Manual, Cover

"Not all typewriters are created equal – especially when languages are not alphabetical. Imagine that." wrote Clifton Parker of The Dish. The East Asia Library exhibit, "The Chinese Typewriter: The Design and Science of East Asian Information Technology" had its opening ceremony, which included lectures by Jidong Yang (EAL) and Thomas S. Mullaney (History), last Wednesday, January 20.
