Information:

Dr. Starodub is a Research Associate in PULSE Institute for Ultrafast Energy Science at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. degree in physics from Rutgers University in 2003. After graduation, Dr. Starodub worked at the Laboratory for Surface Modification at Rutgers University for one year as a postdoctoral associate, with focus on the high-k dielectric stacks for CMOS technology. During a postdoctoral appointment at Arizona State University from 2004 to 2009, he developed sample delivery techniques for X-ray serial crystallography. In 2009, Dr. Starodub joined PULSE Institute. His current research is concentrated at the development of algorithms for coherent diffractive imaging with X-ray free electron lasers. Dr. Starodub has more than 40 publications and holds 1 U.S. patent.
