Billy Cao

Billy Cao is a Senior Auditor at Stanford University’s Office of Audit, Compliance and Privacy. His responsibilities include planning and conducting financial, operational, compliance, and follow-up audits throughout the University. He joined the department in October 2014.

Prior to joining Stanford, Mr. Cao was a Revenue Analyst at Robert Half with portfolio responsibilities across multiple countries and industries. Before working in human resource finance, he spent 6 years in public accounting and auditing gaining experience in various industries; including software, biotech, civil construction, employee benefit plan, and non-profit organization.

Mr. Cao holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
