International Experience: Competed in the triathlon at the 2009 Pan America Games in Oklahoma City ... also competed in the 2009 Junior World Championship in Australia.
High School: A member of the 2009 Central Coast Section championship team in cross country ... was a four-time cross country team MVP ... three-time Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League champion (2007-09) ... 2009 CCS individual champion ... All-CCS first team honors in 2008 and 2009 ... the CCS Junior of the Year ... All-NorCal cross country first-team in 2009 and honorable mention in 2007 and 2008 ... captained the 2010 track team ... four-time track team MVP ... the 1,600 and 3,200-meter league champion (2008-2010) ... holds school record of 4:52.1 in the 1,600 meters ... also swam at Aptos ... SCCAL Finals High Points Winner in swimming in 2010 ... three-time swim team MVP ... six individual league titles in swimming ... also played water polo at Aptos and led the Mariners to the league championship ... earned second team All-SCCAL honors in water polo.
