This Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) provides support to the Weapons and Ammunition Commodities Council (WACC) and its representatives within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The firearms interactive training simulators are designed to present realistic, life size, interactive use of force training scenarios with audio and video that requires officers to take action with their weapons, providing feedback for successful performance through hit detection. Images are clear and free of distortion. Audio is clear and capable of adjustment.
The system provides simultaneous training to two or more officers at one time. In addition, the system is designed for use as a marksmanship trainer that aids in diagnosing and correcting problem shooters. The system is also designed to accept new purchased and/or user created scenarios, with full branching capabilities. All systems are relatively easy to operate with minimal training time. The vendor provides a training and maintenance package for all hardware and software provided with the training system. The system includes the necessary fixtures for a projection system and screen set up.
