Streets around the Dish including Junipero Serra Boulevard, Stanford Avenue and El Camino Real are also closed due to construction. The roads will reopen at various times, ranging from September to November. The Dish renovations include building bicycle parking at the Stanford Avenue gate and a new potable water line near the Alpine gate. Construction will also involve repaving the road between the Alpine gate and the Dish structure and installing habitat fencing in sensitive California tiger salamander areas. As an alternate trail during Dish construction, the Matadero Creek Trail will be open to the public everyday from sunup to sundown. Contact James Noh at nohmailbox ‘at’ gmail.com.
