Overview
The Hawthorne Apartments are available as a full-year option for single graduate students and couples without children.
Hawthorne Apartments, a 96-unit complex built in the 1970’s, is located on a quiet tree-lined street, three blocks from downtown Palo Alto. The complex includes a swimming pool, assigned covered parking, and laundry facilities. Furnished by the University, each two-bedroom apartment houses two students while each one-bedroom apartment houses one couple without children.
Stanford provides wireless DSL and utilities. Stanford does not provide cable television, telephone, or cost of laundry.
If you are assigned here and are interested in housing on campus, please file a reassignment request. The reassignment request form can be found within the Housing and Dining section of Axess under the tab “Apply for Reassignment." There is no fee to be reassigned to on-campus housing and assignments are made based on the date you submit your reassignment request.
Sublicensing is not permitted within off-campus subsidized apartments.
