    With the unprecedented nature of storms and fires over the last few months, many communities are still recovering. This , consider looking into one of many organizations via helping to bring these communities closer to normal.

    Ana Luis Vazquez, Dalila Gonzalez, and Mary Rolon show off a tray of roasted turkey inside the kitchen at the Centro de Bendicion on Nov. 22. Serving those in need within a San Juan neighborhood hard hit by Hurricane Maria, around 30 volunteers presented a free traditional Puerto Rican holiday meal of turkey, fruit, macaroni salad, and rice and beans to more than 60 patrons on the day before Thanksgiving.

    Two Weeks Left to Register - Butte, Lake, Mendocino, Napa, Nevada, Orange, Sonoma and Yuba county residents who sustained disaster-related damage or losses due to the wildfires are encouraged to register for FEMA disaster assistance by December 11.
