EPA Efforts in the Middle East

US EPA’s environmental cooperation in the Middle East focuses on capacity building in environmental governance, water pollution and water security, clean fuels and vehicles, public participation, and pollution prevention.

Our efforts in the region support EPA’s six international priorities, benefit the global environment and build partnerships with key countries in the Middle East and with international organizations, such as the U.N.
