WILL IT SKATE ?!? - Bloody Plastic Knife Friday The 13th Edition Ep. 7

Day Late and a dollar short in typical Metro fashion, Heres our Halloween Edition Will It Skate. Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees starts things off doing his best to slay shit, despite being handicapped with a plastic knife. Upon stepping on the knife board and seeing it flex to the ground, We knew it woulda been a much better idea to risk severed tendons and just go with the real steel butchers blade. Oh well, hindsights 20 20. Jason, Jaws and Samara all managed to come through in their own fashion and tough it through with a coupla tricks. Skaters:

Knock Knock ...Who's There? Will It Skate Episode 6 Front Door Edition! Sorry for the long wait, we're gonna go ahead and call this season 2 of WIS as we took such a long hiatus. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Door was the overwhelming favorite and we were more than happy to oblige though we knew we'd be in for a struggle. No companies make 40" trucks so we had to get creative with the layout, 2 up front, to help us get up the transitions and banks. and 2 down the center for steering or lack of as it turned out. Electric Guitar Edition Of Will It Skate made possible through a generous donation by Cody Jensen and Clay Hoffman, Sorry bout your guitar dudes! Think its a toss up between this Fender Squier and the Apple keyboard for best object turned skateboard thus far. While the Mac keyboard felt like one of those 1970's cruisers,the ol Axe here was more like an 80's Complete. Wide, Heavy and built to crush anything in its path! If the wooden body didn't give out on us with that 6 stair boneless, I think that Squier had a few tricks left in er yet. By popular demand, here's WIS Ep. 5 Electric Guitar Edition. You want vandalism, you got it! Will It Skate Episode 4 - The world needed one less No Skateboarding Sign anyway :) After this session was over, that sign was bent, broken, and begging for its final destination, the scrap pile!!! This was the first object turned skateboard that actually got a small taste of the mean streets in the form of a 5 stair ollie, Juan took a beating on that one as the aluminum tail kept bending on impact, but in true Brute fashion, he'd already put the postage on and addressed it, so there was no choice but to SEND IT! WILL IT SKATE? Apple Keyboard Edition Ep. 3

You asked for it, you got it! Will It Skate Episode 3, Apple Keyboard Edition :) Thankfully for us, the one we had was an old school Mac keyboard, really rigid plastic frame, only thing that made it a little strange was it only had concave on one side so you were always kinda riding on a wedge. Debated cutting the cord, but it was way more fun an deadly with it either in hand or dragging behind the setup, and the mousepad we kept just for extra style. This was the best object turned skateboard so far! skated a bit like one a those Stereo Vinyl cruisers, and tricks aplenty went down. If the thing can handle a full fledged Miller Flip, sky's the limit! Look for these Mac Key Boards in your local skate shop soon!

You're supposed to drink beer and THEN become uncoordinated right??? Well for this edition of Will It Skate, the opposite held true. two stone cold sober skateboarders attempt a few spine transfers on an 18 pack of Budweiser Board, and come up a dollar short like all those tail end o the party liquor store runs. We had to race against a rapidly getting soggier cardboard container, and in the end even wrapping it in griptape and duct taping all corners couldn't make this case of beer skate! Sorry guys, when you can't even muster a drop in on a mellow bank, you gotta admit its all over but the cryin ....but at the end at least we had some cold fizzy beer to do our cryin in :)

Ever look at an everyday object and wonder just how the heck it'd skate? ...Me neither, but Metro wanted to do another show to try an entertain you and this is the best we could come up with :) Welcome to "Will It Skate"? Episode 1. In this installment Chris Ratface Jatoft and Jason Ross try an turn a run of the mill patio brick from Home Depot into a full fledged skateboard! Try fitting both feet on an 8 inch surface area, then imagine it with some swiss bearings and Spitfire 54's and you can probably guess a how difficult it was to skate that little rectangular death trap! Ratface even attempting to drop in on that thing was lunatic fringe typa shit. All of us had our fair share of bails and fails, but these two troopers managed to pull it out so our first WIS episode didn't have to end on a down note. Roll In, Hippie Jump and Rock Fakie all went down and when the brick dust cleared, we had a verdict. IT SKATES!
