Alumni Interview Program

The Office of Undergraduate Admission's alumni interview program is expanding for each admission cycle.

The purpose of the alumni interview is twofold. Alumni will

• Share their knowledge of and passion for Stanford with prospective students, and
• Convey their impressions of these candidates to the admission committee.

Stanford interviews are designed to be casual, comfortable conversations, and are optional for those students for whom an interview is available.

Alumni are Stanford’s most authentic voice. The alumni interview is a superlative means for applicants to learn more about Stanford and for us to learn more about our candidates for admission. We are continually amazed by the warmth, enthusiasm and generosity of our alumni volunteers and hope you will join us to extend the success of the interview program.

Interview Areas

For the 2015–16 admission cycle, the Office of Undergraduate Admission will operate the optional alumni interview program (based on applicant's high school location) in 36 domestic locations and 26 international locations as noted below.

 

 

If the alumni interview program is not yet offered in your area, there may be other volunteer admission activities available.  We encourage all alumni interested in volunteering to register.
