EDD demands jobless to prove identity; verification isn't easy
Users locked out of their accounts must use the EDD's new and lengthy ID.me system to prove their identities, including a facial scan. One woman says her wait time was nearly 5 hours. Others say after going through the process, they still weren't verified.
