Stanford Chamber Chorale

Welcome to the website of the Stanford Chamber Chorale!

Our new CD featuring Haydn's Nelsonmesse continues to garner strong reviews. Music Web International describes the Chorale as "radiant," and calls the reading a "forward moving performance...with a real awareness of historical performance practice." San Francisco Classical Voice described the live performances that were a part of the recording project as "outstanding...dynamic, quick, lively, and bright." To preview the CD, visit here.

We're looking forward to our winter concert on Saturday, 5 March at 7:30 p.m. in Stanford's stunning Bing Concert Hall. The program features Brahms' beloved Neue Liebeslieder Walzer (Op. 65) in collaboration with faculty pianists Laura Dahl and Frederick Weldy; three settings of the poetry of Robert Louis Stevenson by contemporary American composers; and Ola Gjeilo's mesmerizing Evening Prayer with tenor sax player Matz Haugen. Join us for an evening of choral reflections on life and love!
