Spring Architecture/Landscape Architecture lecture series

Richard Olcott, the 2nd lecturer in the 4 part series, is a founding partner and design principal in Ennead Architects. His recent projects include the Stanford University Bing Concert Hall, the Yale Univesity Art Gallery renovation and expansion, the Colin Powell Institute at City College of New York, and the William J. Clinton Presidential Center, the William H. Neukom Building at the Stanford Law School and currently working on the Anderson Collection at Stanford building. Olcott has been recognized in the national, New York, and New York City AIA Awards. He has also won, with his firm, excellence in design awards at the Chicago Athenaeum American Achitecture Awards, as well as many local and regional awards. He is a member of the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects and the Municipal Art Society, and a member of the Architectural League. In 2003, he received the American Academy in Rome's Founders Rome Prize Fellowship. He was apppointed commissioner of the New Yrok City Landmarks Preservation Commission where he served from 1996 to 2007.
