Alexander Key works on Arabic and Islamic scholarship from the seventh to the fifteenth centuries. He is writing a book on the philosophy of language in this period, and his interests range across philosophy, poetics, the history of Western political thought, the reception of Greek texts, and Arabic manuscripts.
