Department of Comparative Literature and Department of Iberian and Latin American Cultures. Ph.D. in Comparative Literature by U.C. Berkeley (1986) and Doctor in English Philology by the University of Barcelona (1987). Prof. Resina has taught at several universities in the United States and Europe. He specializes in the European novel, cultural theory, Spanish and Catalan literature and film, and urban culture. Among other awards, he has received the Fulbright scholarship, the Alexander von Humboldt fellowship, and the Serra d'Or Award for literary criticism. Currently teaching
