Students will become aware of the variety of research topics relevant to the study of Latin America
Students will gain an appreciation of the relevance of the Latin American region at the local, regional and global levels
Students will gain training on how to synthesize information by listening to scholarly presentations, digesting the information and writing a reflection essay that synthesizes the relevant messages of the presentation.
