Learning Goals

Understand voltage, current and resistance, and be able to use Ohm's law and diode equation to find the voltage, current and power flow in a circuit. Use this to create a solar USB charger.
How well did you achieve this learning goal in this course?

Understand how a MOS transistor acts like a voltage controlled switch, and be able to use them to create simple logic gates. Also understand how one can use a simple computer to read switches control a motor to improve your Useless box
How well did you achieve this learning goal in this course?

Understand that information can be represented in many different ways, and in particular understand how two-complement codes represent positive and negative numbers in a computer. Also you should be able to time multiplex information to be able to control a 4x4x4 LED cube with your Arduino
How well did you achieve this learning goal in this course?

Understand the behavior of a capacitor and inductor in a circuit, and be able to use impedance to determine the circuit's gain for a sinewave input as a function of frequency. Using this information with an understanding of how to use an op-amp to build amplifiers with different gain and frequency characteristics to create a circuit which measures an ECG.
