  • Steven and Grace Voorhis

    Summer 2015 Highlights in Giving


    GIFT OF OPPORTUNITY: Steven, '92, MA '92, and Grace Voorhis, MBA '97, established a $1 million endowed scholarship fund with a gift of $500,000 that qualified for matching funds from Stanford. This year, they added to the fund with another $500,000 gift. The Voorhis Family Undergraduate Scholarship Fund is now a $2 million fund that provides need-based financial aid for undergraduates.

     

  • Bing Overseas Studies Program in Florence, Italy

    Summer 2015 Highlights in Giving


    GRAZIE, ITALIA: Robert, '64, and Gail Smelick made a gift of $250,000 for Bob's 50th reunion. Their gift is directed toward initiatives that support the Bing Overseas Studies Program in Florence, Italy. Bob studied at Stanford in Italy during his sophomore year.

     

  • Class of 2015 presents senior gift check

    Summer 2015 Highlights in Giving


    CLASS OF 2015: This year 83 percent of graduating seniors participated in the senior gift campaign, which raises gifts for The Stanford Fund. All gifts support undergraduate scholarships, academic programs, and student organizations. It was the second highest participation rate in the history of The Stanford Fund.
