Shaw Joins NFL Draft Coverage

STANFORD, Calif. - For the fifth consecutive year, Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football David Shaw will join NFL Network for its coverage of the NFL Draft.

Shaw will be on the main desk with Rich Eisen, Steve Mariucci and Mike Mayock as the only college football coach covering the first round of the NFL Draft live in primetime at 4 p.m. (PT) on April 28.

Shaw also will take part in NFL Network's Red Carpet Show at 3 p.m. (PT).

The coaching resume of Shaw, who is entering his sixth season as Stanford's head coach, also includes nine years of NFL experience with the Philadelphia Eagles (1997), Oakland Raiders (1998-2001) and Baltimore Ravens (2002-05).

Under Shaw, the Cardinal has produced 19 draft picks, including three first-round selections, from the 2011 season onward. Andrew Luck was the first overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft following the 2011 season.

Stanford has produced 21 NFL Draft first-round selections and has had 257 players drafted by professional football teams since 1936.
