MA in International and Development Economics from University of San Francisco PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from University of California, Davis
I completed my doctoral degree in 2011 with an emphasis in Development Economics. During my graduate work, I was a part of a team of researchers lead by Dr. Scott Rozelle and the Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy. I worked on projects to evaluate the impact of a series of health policy reforms on village primary care providers and health service utilization among households in rural China. Prior to working on health policy in China, I studied migrant women in the Philippines with an emphasis on risk and sexual violence. I also completed an detailed study of human trafficking in China and South East Asia.
